Running, biking or skating are not allowed on the boardwalk

Birds can be observed close by. The colony of Wood Storks -the largest wading bird in US- is here remarkably numerous.

The boardwalk loop is smaller that the one at Green Cay: three-quarter mile on a 50 acres park of previous wastewater utility property. But it has plenty of birds to watch.

Wat you will see is mostly birds, but there are other especies around like rabbits, pumas, turtles and ...alligators.

In late winter and during spring the newborns can be observed as they grow stronger. Over 178 bird species have been identified there, but the Wood Storks are dominant.
